Job Title: Vendor Business Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Vendor Business Manager to lead the development of business and relationships with key manufacturers such as Splunk and Hitachi in Argentina. This role is critical in managing demand and growth of these brands in a technologically advanced and highly complex technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Development: Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase market share of brands like Splunk and Hitachi. Drive growth of products and services, aligning manufacturer objectives with local opportunities.
  • Manufacturer Relationship: Act as the primary point of contact between TD SYNNEX and manufacturers, managing meetings, business reviews, and forecast reports to ensure correct execution of commercial and marketing initiatives.
  • Channel Development: Identify business opportunities, foster strategic relationships with partners, and support demand generation and positioning of Splunk and Hitachi solutions in the market.
  • Sales and Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design campaigns that strengthen brand presence in the region, actively participating in training and demand generation events.
  • Operational Responsibility: Coordinate order processing, license renewals, and execution of critical activities to satisfy customers and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Process Optimization: Propose improvements in administrative and commercial workflows, utilizing tools like Excel to generate efficiency in data management, quotations, and reports.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business management roles with technology manufacturers, preferably in security solutions (Splunk) and data storage (Hitachi).
  • Solid technical knowledge of security monitoring and event management (SIEM) solutions, as well as data storage technologies.
  • Advanced analytical skills, Excel management, and report creation.
  • Ability to balance daily operational execution with long-term strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in building trust-based relationships with manufacturers and partners.
