The role of the Production Manager is pivotal in overseeing the operations of Flowserve's manufacturing processes. The Production Manager evaluates the necessity of outsourcing certain tasks or implementing overtime to adhere to delivery schedules. This role is crucial in managing the flow of both manufactured and purchased components, as well as coordinating external operations to optimize the workforce. Reporting directly to the QRC General Manager or Director of Operations, this position plays a key role in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight: Manage resources, expenses, and profit margins effectively. Strategic Planning: Contribute to QRC's operational planning. Production Leadership: Spearhead the transformation of QRC's processes to enhance design, development, and resource utilization for production. Oversee the implementation of capital expenditures and drive improvements in HR operations, including recruitment, training, and process optimization. Sales Collaboration: Provide technical support to the sales team in exploring new business opportunities within the designated area. Additional Tasks: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. At least 5 years of comprehensive P&L management experience, encompassing standard cost systems, manufacturing operations, and product innovation. In-depth technical knowledge of Flowserve's product line. Familiarity with financial and operational reporting, as well as performance management systems. Exceptional leadership capabilities, particularly in influencing organizational dynamics and fostering high-performance teams. A solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies is essential for this role.
