Executive Membership Strategist

The Executive Membership Strategist is responsible for driving the growth and retention of our exclusive membership base at Bombay. This role involves creating and implementing member engagement initiatives, managing communication channels, and ensuring members receive unparalleled value from their association with us.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive membership strategy in line with stakeholder objectives to optimise and leverage all available assets, attracting and retaining a loyal core membership community.
- Identify and recommend an optimal membership platform to host our membership offerings, maximising opportunities for growth and development.
- Create and execute targeted strategies to attract and build a core membership base, as well as verticals that complement our existing offerings.
- Monitor membership trends, identify opportunities for growth, and analyse data to inform strategic decisions.
- Promote membership through outreach activities, including attending events and networking sessions.
- Design and implement a loyalty programme that delivers tailored benefits to all members, enhancing their overall experience.
- Plan and execute programmes and events that engage and provide value to members, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Develop and manage member recognition initiatives to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain regular communication with members through diverse channels, including newsletters, emails, social media, and more.
- Analyse performance data against established goals, identifying areas for improvement and informing strategic adjustments.
- Oversee the membership budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximum impact.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to align membership strategies with organisational objectives and goals.
- Utilise marketing collateral to develop campaigns and materials promoting membership opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in membership management, preferably with a track record of successfully growing and retaining a membership base.
- Proven expertise in implementing and launching loyalty programmes in luxury-related industries, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and membership management software.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
