We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our Small and Medium Business (SMB) sales team at Deel. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the SMB market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the SMB Sales Team: Report into the Senior Director of Sales, North America, and lead a team of SMB Sales Managers, responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining high-performing talent.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, while maintaining a high-performance, high-accountability culture.
- Coach and Develop Sellers: Coach, manage, and develop sellers with an emphasis on continual learning and skill-gap improvement, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
- Process Development: Develop processes that scale and drive consistent execution across the team, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Actively monitor sales pipeline, activity, and forecasts to proactively adapt to changing conditions, driving revenue success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive alignment with cross-functional teams in Customer Success, Support, and Revenue Operations, ensuring a cohesive and customer-centric approach.
- Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Marketing to improve and iterate messaging and collateral for the sales team, ensuring a unified brand voice.
- Revenue Success: Drive revenue success by owning and exceeding Deel's quarterly and annual sales targets, demonstrating a deep understanding of the business.
- Leadership Experience: Significant experience leading sales at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
- Sales Management Experience: 2+ years of sales management experience, with a strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Second-Line Management Experience: 1+ year of experience in second-line management, with a focus on developing and coaching sales teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled at working cross-functionally with various departments, including Marketing, Customer Success, and Support.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Analytical and Data-Driven: Analytical and data-driven, with a strong growth mindset and ability to adapt to changing conditions.
- SMB Sales Experience: Experience selling into companies with 1-200 employees, with a strong understanding of the SMB market and its unique challenges.
