Job Title: Sales Operations Manager
InkAdmin is a fast-growing startup that helps tattoo studios thrive by managing inquiries, booking appointments, and improving sales efficiency. We provide comprehensive solutions for tattoo artists, and as we scale, we need a Sales Operations Specialist to optimize and drive our sales performance.
Job Overview:
As a **Sales Operations Manager**, you will play a key role in optimizing the efficiency of our sales teams and ensuring smooth, data-driven operations. This role will focus heavily on **building and managing the systems and tools that help our sales team succeed**. You will be responsible for implementing new processes, maintaining sales data, and ensuring teams have the resources they need to operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Process Optimization:
- Evaluate and refine existing sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and propose solutions that speed up deal closure and appointment bookings.
- Implement standardized workflows across sales teams to ensure consistency and high performance.
2. Sales Tools & Systems Management:
- Design, develop, and maintain tools (primarily in Google Sheets or other reporting software) to track daily sales activities, performance metrics, and lead conversion rates.
- Manage and optimize the CRM system (GoHighLevel), ensuring the sales team is using it effectively to manage leads, appointments, and communications.
- Ensure the sales team has easy access to resources such as scripts, FAQs, and sales training materials to support their productivity.
3. Data Reporting & Analysis:
- Build dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights into sales performance (KPIs, conversion rates, revenue projections, etc.).
- Regularly analyze sales data to identify trends, highlight opportunities for growth, and propose actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Use data to forecast sales performance and provide input into strategy planning.
4. Team Support & Enablement:
- Collaborate closely with sales managers (Johann and Ornella) to understand team needs and develop tools or processes that address those needs.
- Ensure teams are trained on any new tools or processes introduced, and offer support in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
- Continuously gather feedback from sales reps and managers to make iterative improvements to tools and systems.
5. Process Documentation & Training:
- Document all sales processes, workflows, and systems in clear, easy-to-follow guides.
- Provide onboarding and ongoing training for the sales team to ensure optimal use of sales tools and adherence to processes.
- Implement new sales process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Sales Team Performance Tracking:
- Work with the sales managers to set up key performance indicators (KPIs) and help track individual and team performance against goals.
- Identify gaps in sales execution and propose solutions to improve performance.
7. New Client Onboarding:
- Meet with new clients to ensure our team has all necessary tools to complete the job at a high level.
- Integrate our tools with those of the client.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, or a similar role **where you optimized sales team performance.**
- **Expert proficiency in Google Sheets** (or other advanced spreadsheet tools) to create detailed reports, dashboards, and performance trackers.
- Experience working with CRM systems (GoHighLevel preferred) and optimizing them for improved sales outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proven ability to create and streamline sales processes that drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a passion for process improvement.
- Startup experience is a plus, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
