An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our Center of Excellence Technical department as a hands-on Development Team Leader, leading a team composed by several skilled developers with different seniorities. The team will be dedicated to solving issues and developing complex change requests coming from our internal delivery-oriented Support and Service areas, across a variety of products and technologies.

As an experienced Development Team Leader, whilst being highly technical and hands-on capable, you will lead development across predominantly Microsoft.Net, Angular, SQL Server and Oracle based technologies. Managing the successful delivery will require you to plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery lifecycle. This will include working closely with other areas focal points, coordinating developers, as well as liaising with key project stakeholders as required.

Working closely with other team leaders within Center of Excellence Technical department will ensure the structured and coordinated planning of your team’s development. Your technical background and experience will ensure you can offer the support and guidance required being able to support and assist developers at code level. This role offers challenges across a wide variety of projects and responsibilities, including the opportunity to identify key players, help removing stoppers, influence and motivate the team in following best practices and processes.

- Solve technical issues in production environment.
- Build different functionalities for ongoing project based on requirement needs.
- Support the effort estimation process for complex functionalities in case is needed.
- Support less experienced team members with queries and technical advisory.
- Provide robust solutions and implementations.
- Follow and help spread best practices defined by the delivery architects.
Occasionally, attend meetings with the client to discuss specific technical implementation aspects.

- Experience in.NET Framework (C# is a must).
- Experience in relational SQL databases (i.e., SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).

Desirable skills:

- Experience working with frontend framework such as React, Angular or Vue is also a plus.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools and development environments (VSTF, Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Working knowledge of Git version control system.
- Knowledge of Angular +2 and JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure solutioning utilizing Azure Services or similar cloud services.
- Experience with RESTful web services, and design and build tools supporting APIs.
- Experience using Azure DevOps is desirable.
