Purpose:


The Head of HR, Janssen LAS & One HR LAS, is responsible for the creation and deployment of the portfolio of HR work within the geography in support of sector/function goals.

The Head of HR, LAS & One HR LAS, will actively support their business partners and drive important people/talent actions for their respective business.


You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring business intimacy:
  • Create and deploy the HR strategic agenda for the business within a geography, aligned with HR, business, and shared services strategies
  • Ensure integration of HR priorities into business plans
  • Evaluate appropriate business, financial, or other drivers across groups to inform HR solutions (e.g., assess effectiveness, identify gaps)
  • Lead strategic HR work for the sector in a country/cluster in support of business goals, enterprise goals, and sector HR strategies
  • Develop trusted partnership/coaching relationship with leaders/teams that enhances their impact
  • In the capacity of One HR Head for

LAS:
partner closely with the Presidents Councils to drive enterprise strategies and crisis management response.

Driving talent agenda and building organizational capability:

  • Identify talent needs of the business via analytics, business acumen, and effective analysis
  • Develop/deploy talent strategies in partnership with local leadership to grow and advance effective, diverse talent pools and drive meaningful talent planning; build on global and regionsector strategies to implement within country/cluster
  • Support country/cluster business leaders for the sector/function to drive talent agenda and achieve business results
  • Partner with globalsector, regionsector, and country/cluster HR leaders to shape culture, employee engagement, talent agendas, and change initiatives as appropriate

Promoting collaboration:

  • Partner xgroup, including across all parts of the HR model, to ensure integrated solutions and seamless experiences for both HR and the business
  • Proactively identify opportunities to partner xgroup and or xsector to ensure integration of efforts
  • In the capacity of One HR Head for
LAS, sponsors One HR cluster HR Forum promoting end to end function development, engagement & collaboration

Leading others:

  • Ensure effective performance of team
  • Ensure meaningful engagement, development, and energy of team
  • Drive culture of Credo, growth, collaboration, and inclusion within team
Others- Member of HR Latin America Leadership Team

  • Member of LAS Presidents Councils
  • External representation of J&J in talent related forums for Latin America South (eg. trade industry bodies)

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications and requirements:
  • This position will be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina and require 15% travel.
  • Years of experience: 13+ years professional experience, including managerial experience coaching and leading talent; minimum of 7 years of progressive HR or HR related experience required
