**A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain indepth knowledge of health care policy activity in Argentina and Uruguay,
interpret for business impact, and participate in cross-functional projects internally or
externally to influence and enhance position within changing environment, anticipating
policy changes to capture every opportunity and manage the potential crisis in advance.

  • Identify Market Access Barriers and business opportunities and build Market Access Plans
and related strategies to support product commercialization and expansion for key
Operating Units within Argentina and Uruguay.

  • Guides the company on legislative and regulatory affairs with elected officials and
government officials in regulatory agencies.

  • Monitors progress of legislative and regulatory issues of interest to the company and
provides analysis and strategic management to the executive board of the Company

  • Build strong relationships with payers and government officials to position MDT as a strategic
partner and leverage business opportunities

  • Deploys strategy for and visits elected government and regulatory officials to advise them of
company issues.

  • Directs and works with designated trade and business associations and advocacy groups on
important political, legislative, and regulatory issues to the company to build alliances and
leverage the company's goals.

  • Assist operating units in study design and results evaluation to enhance capabilities in
evidence generation as needed.

  • Map, design, implement and update strategic engagement plans with key stakeholders to
advance Medtronic's business objectives in Argentina & Uruguay - aligned with MA Cluster
Lead.

Must Have:
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree: Marketing, Business Administration, political science, health economics, medicine, or international relations or any related field.
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare market access, marketing, reimbursement, outcomes research, payers or providers administration, technology assessment, health policy, or other related fields. Required
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical devices companies or Experience in health care insurance or health care government department.


 Upper intermediate
  • Advanced English level required
