A fast-paced, highly successful global company, a hidden champion, located at the heart of Karlsruhe (Germany), Budapest (Hungary) and Seoul (South Korea) is looking for exceptionally talented and bright Solution Engineer.


With a team of 200+ international people, we are creating embedded and cloud software for the next generations of In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems.

The company's customers are top branded automotive companies around the world.

Position Description**:

You will be part of Department of Customer Project Management.

As a Solution Engineer with strong core technical skills, you are responsible for winning new business by actively driving and managing the technical presales with existing and new potential customers.

You will also support and advise project leaders during complex change requests. You act as the technical expert and transfer product knowledge to customers in presales.

You collaborate closely with the sales and software engineering departments and customer technical staff to ensure best positioning of company in customers' projects.

This role requires an energetic and motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

_This position implies relocation to Germany or Hungary._

Responsibilities:

  • Provide architectural guidance for the customers about product portfolio;
  • Anticipate customer technical needs;
  • Provide technical documentation, datasheets and answer technical questions for specific products;
  • Act as interface between the Sales, Portfolio Management, Cloud DevOps and the SW Engineering team for requirements of new features;
  • Build and manage Proof of Concept projects;
  • Manage the handover to project support after contract signature;
  • Contribute to RFIs, RFQs and Q&A sheets by driving the delivery of content for the technical part;
  • Drive the preparation and support the negotiation of Statements of Work.

Experience & Skills**:

  • College/university degree;
  • Understanding of software engineering processes with complex technical issues;
  • Very good knowledge of C and C++ programming languages;
  • Experience in customer interaction, ideally in technical context;
  • Basic Android knowledge/experience;
  • Selfmotivated, proactive and able to work under mínimal supervision;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for efficient collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Wellorganised with high attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in English.

Nice to have**:

  • Experience in technical presales;
  • Interest in nextgeneration multimedia;
  • Experience in automotive sector or with complex embedded systems.
