The HRBP Bosnia is a critical "role up your sleeves" member of our Global People Team dedicated to supporting the growth and success of the business and our people. Responsibilities of this role are complex, large‑scale, and dynamic, with a laser focus approach on the goal of enhancing business performance and Virgin Pulse’s status as a world‑class employer. This role reports into the Chief People Officer, with a strong reporting line into the General Manager, Bosnia. The right person for this role is a results‑oriented business partner who has a broad generalist background in talent development, culture, change leadership, driving business performance, succession planning and coaching, who thinks like a businessperson and acts like an owner – because at Virgin Pulse the HRBP is the right hand partner to the Executive Leader. In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following Partner with Bosnia Executive and Operational Leaders on people‑related strategies, and design and deliver people plans that improve effectiveness, anticipate hiring and development needs and help achieve overall business goals. Establish a deep understanding of our values and mission and help to advise the evolution of our culture and dispersed workforce. Collaborate across the People teams (Talent Management & DEI, Talent Acquisition, HRBP US, HR Operations and Total Rewards) to deploy timely, effective, and scalable programs to grow the business. Build, lead and iterate on HR programs that support strategic objectives and drive employee engagement & retention. Proactively advise leaders on employee life‑cycle areas such as hiring, promotions, performance management, talent development. Utilize data to inform guidance around people and organizational strategies. Lead Bosnia business leaders through annual HR processes including talent and performance calibrations, org planning, individual development plans, and compensation alignment. Develop consistent strategies and tactics to help leaders manage change. Collaborate with leadership to ensure training and career development needs are met. Hands‑on approach to monitor and influence the "pulse" of the organization to ensure a high level of employee engagement and retention. Manage a high‑volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves" or push‑back on initiatives for thoughtful and strategic planning, scaling for size. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills while emulating Virgin Pulse’s core values. Qualifications What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team and the numerous positive attributes we expect: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience with dynamic, creative and challenging responsibilities as a strategic partner working with a distributed team. Strong alignment with Virgin Pulse’s values. Experience with Bosnia business practices and ability to integrate programs into a global, scalable framework. Deep understanding of HR strategies & programs, including but not limited to: leadership coaching, employee engagement, DEI, organizational design, compensation, workforce planning, talent development and change management. Ability to present facts and recommendations in a clear and concise manner with strong presentation skills. Very professional and personable, able to build and maintain rapport across all levels of the organization. A trusted advisor, comfortable giving and receiving feedback at the executive level. Outstanding judgement and ability to balance the needs of the company, leaders and employees. Unquestioned integrity and a confident presence to effectively solve sensitive employee issues.
