What You’ll Do As a Financial Controller, you will own and operate Trillion Digital’s in-house accounting and bookkeeping function across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions. You will maintain the integrity of the firm’s financial records, ensure accurate double‑entry accounting within our ERP, and deliver timely daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across the organization. Working closely with operations, compliance, and external advisors, you will establish strong financial controls, support audits, and ensure the firm’s accounting practices scale in line with institutional growth and regulatory obligations. Roles and Responsibilities Maintain full responsibility for the firm’s books and records, ensuring accurate and timely double‑entry accounting across all entities. Perform and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, wallets, trading venues, counterparties, and internal ledgers. Manage accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, including intercompany transactions and eliminations. Own configuration, accuracy, and ongoing operation of the firm’s ERP and accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness. Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures aligned with institutional and regulatory expectations. Act as primary point of contact for external accountants, auditors, and advisors, supporting audits, reviews, and regulatory inquiries. Work closely with trading, operations, and compliance teams to ensure accurate trade capture, settlement accounting, and alignment with AML/KYC and regulatory frameworks. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial control roles, ideally within financial services, trading, fintech, or digital asset environments. Strong working knowledge of double‑entry accounting, reconciliations, and multi‑entity financial structures. Hands‑on experience operating and owning an ERP or accounting system. High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex data across multiple accounts and entities. Solid understanding of financial controls, audit processes, and compliance‑driven environments. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to operate autonomously and take full ownership of the function. Work Location Candidate must not reside or operate in a jurisdiction blacklisted by the OECD or an OFAC‑sanctioned jurisdiction.
