We are looking for a Part‑Time Collections Specialist to support the Accounts Receivable operations of a fast‑growing wholesale/e‑commerce company in the floral, décor, and gifting space. This role is essential for improving cash flow, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely follow‑ups on overdue invoices. A large portion of this role involves making phone calls to customers, which is our primary method of communication. You will also be expected to follow clear instructions and daily delegated tasks, such as completing a set list of clients to call every day. This role reports directly to the Manager (the hiring manager). You’ll collaborate with Finance and Operations to help streamline the collections process and maintain accurate payment activity. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage the accounts receivable aging report. Make daily phone calls to customers regarding overdue invoices. Follow up through email or customer portals as needed. Track payment commitments and maintain consistent follow‑up until payment is received. Maintain accurate notes and documentation of all customer interactions. Complete delegated daily tasks such as calling from a pre‑assigned client list. Provide daily/weekly status updates directly to the Manager. Support weekly and monthly collections reporting. Escalate severely overdue accounts when needed. Assist with basic invoice reconciliation and approvals. Coordinate with Finance and Operations regarding discrepancies, credits, and payment issues. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, billing, credit control, or similar roles that involve customer interaction. Experience making phone calls to customers – strong verbal communication is required. Strong communication skills: clear, professional, persistent, and comfortable handling payment discussions. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Must speak Spanish and English (LATAM‑based). Ability to work independently and manage follow‑ups across multiple accounts. Nice‑to‑Have Experience in wholesale, distribution, logistics, floral supply, or e‑commerce.
