Senior Data Analyst, Compliance (Bulgaria) We are looking for a Compliance Senior Data Analyst with deep SQL expertise, strong logical reasoning skills, and the ability to use Python, APIs, or similar tools to automate data workflows. This role contributes to the Global Regulatory Reporting team, which is responsible for meeting our global licensing and tax reporting obligations. In this role, you’ll develop a strong understanding of Crypto.com’s products and data flows to support timely and accurate regulatory reporting. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who is comfortable working independently through complex data problems, communicates clearly, and collaborates effectively across teams and time zones. The successful candidate will possess skills in data analytics, SQL, Python, Jira, and data visualization. Experience working with APIs and webhooks to integrate with third‑party platforms is a strong plus. They should exhibit a strong passion for financial innovation, thrive working cross‑functionally and collaboratively to solve complex problems, and be excited about supporting Crypto.com’s mission to put cryptocurrency in every wallet. Responsibilities Support the implementation of tasks related to the upcoming CARF / DAC8 tax reporting by writing SQL queries to extract data and validating results for accuracy and completeness. Support global regulatory reporting obligations (e.g., EMI, MiFID) by preparing and delivering required data, ensuring all tasks within scope are completed. Track and update related tasks in our Jira ticketing system, including commenting and providing status updates. Use standard Agile or SCRUM methodologies (i.e. Jira boards) to track tasks and workflows. Ensure that standards for response and documentation are met for both ad‑hoc and recurring data requests. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across Global Compliance to understand and support the delivery of data that satisfies requirements from regulators (i.e., UK FCA, CBI, MFSA), financial partners, and internal leadership. Follow and help improve procedures for key reporting tasks, and explore new tools and processes that improve how data is prepared and shared with colleagues and customers. Document processes and workflows to ensure clarity and consistency. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong ability to write efficient SQL queries across large datasets, with attention to performance and data accuracy. Experience using Python or similar languages for data processing or automation. Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global, multicultural environment. Ability to apply a strategic and structured approach to problem solving. Highly organized, with strong attention to detail. Exposure to cross‑functional projects and intercompany initiatives, with occasional need to collaborate outside regular hours to accommodate colleagues in different time zones. Exposure to financial services, with a focus in regulatory and / or tax reporting within the banking or fintech industry a plus.
