Build and nurture strong lasting relationships with client organizations addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Develop an exceptional and up-to-date understanding of S&P Global Energy products and functionality and how they apply to specific client roles and functions. Produce accurate sales forecasts and maintain an up-to-date pipeline, contacts and meeting records in the Salesforce CRM system. Stay informed about competitor offerings to identify strengths and areas for improvement in S&P Global Energy solutions. Contribute to business strategy through a deep understanding of industry requirements, market trends and client needs. Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations with prospects. Collaborate with sales specialists, other departments and channel partners as needed to proactively address customer requirements. Develop and maintain territory and account plans outlining how sales targets will be consistently achieved. What We’re Looking For Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Bachelors degree in business, commerce or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, presentation and negotiation skills. Personal integrity and a confident positive demeanor. Entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and a sense of urgency. Ability to work effectively both in a team-based environment and independently. Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment. A proven and successful track record in new business development. Motivated by expanding business beyond perceived limits. Willingness to travel occasionally.
