Senior Tax Compliance Specialist – Global Accounting (SAP) We help the world run better. At SAP, we keep it simple: bring your best and we’ll bring the best. Overview The local tax specialist will support, coordinate and execute tax matters for subsidiaries acquired by SAP and legacy SAP subsidiaries in Latin America in a shared operations/COE mode. Responsibilities Ensure subsidiaries meet full internal and external compliance requirements. Manage tax compliance and key accounting topics in collaboration with country LTMs and external advisors. Prepare and manage tax returns (VAT/GST, WHT, CIT), tax accounting, transfer pricing, tax audit and litigation. Standardize heterogeneous tax processes and drive automation using smart technologies. Manage indirect tax exemption/registration and WHT processes. Provide tax support for tax audits and partner with external service providers. Communicate and negotiate with government authorities regarding tax matters. Support financing, funds flow management, post‑tax payments and purchase of third‑party tax consulting services. Collaborate with Shared Service Centre to ensure stable processes and high‑quality tax data. Build good business relations with key stakeholders and deliver high customer satisfaction. Qualifications Education in Tax, Finance or Accounting. 1‑5+ years of experience in a tax function with exposure to tax relevant transactions. Skills and Competencies Strong pro‑active work management and problem‑solving ability. Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English. Good knowledge of SAP‑ERP System and SAP finance organization. Willingness to develop further on international tax topics. Experience with tax related transactions and shared operations collaboration.
