Senior Tax Compliance Specialist (Global Accounting, Reporting And Tax) Position Summary We help the world run better. Job Family : Tax Evaluation of global tax strategies and tax planning within the SAP group covers the main tasks of Corporate Tax. Core Tasks Tax optimization and tax planning on a national and international basis. Restructuring including tax support of M&A activities. Transfer pricing / tax audits and reporting. Subsidiaries' support with regard to tax matters. Key Responsibilities & Tasks (Strategic Alignment: 5% of time; Tax specific work: 95% of time) Provide a full range of tax counsel work to different addressees including tax authorities. Drive execution of policies and ensure compliance with relevant laws. Prepare tax returns and filing documents for complex entities; review tax returns. Define and implement policies in the area of expertise. Coach & act as a knowledge broker: proactively share expertise and train others on deep professional topics. Collect and disseminate relevant information across organizational boundaries to support learning. Regularly participate in and organize events sharing best practices (Innovation & Best Practice Creator). Represent SAP to customers and external partners and act as an ambassador for Global Tax on cross‑functional projects. Qualifications 5–8 years of functional experience in tax. Fluent in English. University degree or comparable qualification. CTC/CPA or comparable certification, or in preparation.
