YOUR FUTURE ROLE In this position, you will be responsible for billing activities and balance statement delivery, participate in specific projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for SAP’s consumption commercial models. You will address consumption‑related issues and inquiries and act as the dedicated point of support contact for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES Execute quality checks for consumption billable items. Continuously search for automation, simplification, and standardization opportunities. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of consumption billing documents and balance statements. Identify issues and trigger solutions in collaboration with Consumption Support Operations. Assist with testing activities. Drive root‑cause analysis to further enhance and stabilize the billing system. Participate in continuous improvement discussions regarding the process, its risks, and opportunities. Collaborate in SOX‑related activities and with Controlling and Revenue Recognition. Align and collaborate with O2I CoEs and CPIT. Provide 3rd‑level support for complex, high‑profile cases. Lead projects and initiatives holistically, following up diligently with all relevant parties. Engage in conversations about complex topics with upper management. YOUR PROFILE To qualify for this job you should bring the following abilities: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory). Experience: Minimum 2 years in a finance position or equivalent work experience (preferred, not mandatory). Experience in order‑to‑invoice and/or deal support is a plus. Technical Skills: Good understanding of SaaS software products and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and/or financial issues efficiently. Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑centric mindset. Tools: Familiarity with support management tools and software (CRM, billing systems, ticketing tools, ideally SAP tools). Communication: Excellent and fluent English communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to convey complex technical and financial information clearly. Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate effectively with upper management and high‑profile stakeholders. Collaboration: Enjoy working in an agile, fast‑changing environment and with globally distributed cross‑functional teams. ABOUT THE TEAM The Global Finance Success (GFS) Consumption CoE manages all consumption commercial model billing. It defines automation‑driven billing requirements, enhances processes and systems, and prepares, analyzes, and processes balance statements for public cloud commercial models. The team produces monthly billing statements so customers can understand their SAP software usage, and it supports customers, partners, and internal stakeholders with balance statement and consumption inquiries, while driving continuous improvement and onboarding of new models.
