To support this mission Syngentas Direct Procurement team is seeking a Direct Procurement Buyer in Vicente Lopez Buenos Aires Argentina. Accountabilities Direct Materials Procurement Lead purchasing processes Optimize cost-benefit ratios Ensure quality standards Monitor delivery timelines Strategic Supplier Management Build and maintain key partnerships Coordinate performance evaluations and audits Negotiate agreements Drive supplier development programs Category Management Handle high-value purchasing categories Analyze supplier markets Identify cost-saving opportunities Ensure policy compliance Strategic Analysis & Planning Develop sourcing strategies Perform spend analysis Manage budget and forecasts Monitor market trends and pricing Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years in purchasing/procurement Experience negotiating high-value contracts Knowledge in supplier management and strategic sourcing Advanced Excel Advanced English (written and spoken) Knowledge of regulations and compliance Desired Chemical/agrochemical industry experience Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) Knowledge of Power BI Knowledge of Portuguese Additional Information What We Offer A culture that celebrates diversity & inclusion promotes professional development and strives for a work-life balance that supports the team members.
