Your Role and Responsibilities Located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a new Center Tax Leader (CTL) position has emerged in our Tax Center of Excellence whose mission is to provide critical tax operational support to tax operations for the LA & Canada region. Reporting to the CTL, the Tax Operations Support Analysts will support a group of regions/markets. Each analyst position will also functionally support our Regional Tax Operations Managers who each have coverage and responsibility for one of these regions/markets. CTL will also be responsible for supporting one of these regions/markets. The Center Tax Lead is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and expertise across a functional global direct or indirect tax team. The Tax Lead performs complex operational and technical tax analysis and reporting for areas of responsibility. The Tax Lead provides coaching, work coordination, guidance on issue resolution, and develops team skills. The Lead provides sound problem‑solving techniques, facilitates process execution, ensures auditability is maintained, implements plans to address exposures, promotes improvements within the assigned process area and utilizes the agile methodology. Provision of quality tax operations support to each respective region/market/country. Supporting our Regional Tax Operations Managers with on‑going compliance with taxation laws and regulations within their respective regions, including support to timely and accurate tax filings and payments. Working day‑to‑day with external tax vendors, including ensuring high quality provision to the company of direct taxes, withholding tax, income tax accounting, indirect taxes and transfer pricing compliance services. Review of external vendor work deliverables and output, including review of direct and indirect tax returns and payments, tax accounting computations and reporting, etc. Working with Kyndryl’s Business Units and Enterprise Support teams to ensure the facilitation and delivery to external vendors of quality data critical for tax compliance execution. Supporting Regional Tax Operations Managers with the provision of routine tax advisory support to Kyndryl’s Business Units. Supporting tax authority reviews and audits. Supporting compliance with Kyndryl’s Tax Controls Framework & Tax Policies and Procedures. Required Technical and Professional Expertise The Tax Lead is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and expertise across a functional global direct or indirect tax team. The Tax Lead performs complex operational and technical tax analysis and reporting for areas of responsibility. The Tax Lead provides coaching, work coordination, guidance on issue resolution, and develops team skills. The Lead provides sound problem‑solving techniques, facilitates process execution, ensures auditability is maintained, implements plans to address exposures, promotes improvements within the assigned process area and utilizes the agile methodology. The Tax Lead should demonstrate advanced utilization of the technical tools and programs available to perform their responsibilities (such as: MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), Cognos Analytics and similar tools). The Lead will demonstrate leadership skills, strong communication & negotiation skills, maintain controls and use key problem‑solving techniques to develop insights and provide recommendations. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience The Tax Lead is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and expertise across a functional global direct or indirect tax team. The Tax Lead performs complex operational and technical tax analysis and reporting for areas of responsibility. The Tax Lead provides coaching, work coordination, guidance on issue resolution, and develops team skills. The Lead provides sound problem‑solving techniques, facilitates process execution, ensures auditability is maintained, implements plans to address exposures, promotes improvements within the assigned process area and utilizes the agile methodology.
