Regional Tax Lead - Compliance We are a digitally native technology services company where innovation, design and engineering meet scale. Right now, we are looking for a Regional Tax Lead - Compliance to join our team at Globant Main activities Supervising preparation of annual, monthly and quarterly Tax Returns such as, Corporate Income tax, VAT Returns, Withholding Tax payments and other government payments and returns within stipulated deadlines. Forecasting of tax payments for effective cash flow management. Preparation of monthly and annual tax provisions. Internal reporting and monitoring of fiscal risks. Be responsible for the interaction with the external advisors. Prepare for, and assist with, external tax audits. Assist with the reconciliation of general ledger tax accounts. Assist with quarterly and annual audit including SOX compliance. Support management in making strategic tax decisions, assisting with mergers process, identifying tax savings. Handle tax queries from business stakeholders and operational teams, acting as the single point of contact in the country and the region. Cooperate with the Corporate Tax Advisory and Transfer Pricing team providing comprehensive and business-oriented tax analysis and advice such as tax credit recovery process, legal reorganization, M&A activity among others. Interface with other regional and local teams. What will help you succeed +7 years of experience in tax matters in Big4 or Multinational Groups. Experience in taxation in Argentina. Experience in regional Tax compliance: mainly México, Colombia, Chile, Perú and Brasil. Accounting and financial skills. Experience with SAP (desirable). Experience with tax Tools (i.e Thomson Reuters). Being flexible and goal oriented. Enjoy solving problems and improving processes. ess analytical and problem-solving skills. Interdisciplinary ability to understand diverse topics of a global corporate environment. Upper-Intermediate English skills.
