Job Position: Digital Project Manager
Location: Remote (PST Timezone)

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM PST
(Note: This could be flexible; the chosen candidate may work in EST hours as long as there is a 3-5 hour overlap with PST hours.)


ROLE OVERVIEW
:

As a Digital Project Manager, you are the lifeline for the success of our clients' marketing campaigns. You visualize our projects in roadmaps, foreseeing roadblocks and planning the best course of action to mitigate risks. With your coordination, the right resources and teams are always allocated to manage key deliverables. Reporting directly to the Account Director and working alongside our Account Services Team, you are also responsible for creating project processes, mapping out workback schedules, and ensuring the smooth implementation and delivery of campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Campaign Execution:

  • Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure alignment on client goals and defined project scope, as well as successful implementation of campaign strategy
  • Collaborate with internal production teams, client teams, outside contractors, and third-party stakeholders to execute campaign deliverables in a timely and effective manner.
  • Create and implement SOWs, workback schedules, timelines, and campaign progress reports.
  • Ensure deadlines are met by estimating and planning overall workloads; planning, assigning, and communicating tasks.
  • Analyze risks and proactively take action to mitigate issues and adjust campaign timelines as necessary.
  • Ensure that the project meets the quality standards expected by the client and Periphery and provide QA for all deliverables.
  • Coordinate the successful submission of campaign deliverables with media vendors and third-party agencies.
  • Track project budget and identify opportunities to maximize profits.

Client Engagement:

  • Ensure clients are informed, updated, and on track with the work back schedule and campaign timeline.
  • Collaborate with clients on the ideation, creation, feedback, and approvals of deliverables.
  • Ensure timely communication and successful delivery of campaign objectives, goals, and KPIs.
  • Resolve client roadblocks and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Team Management:

  • Act as the bridge between the client and the internal production team.
  • Lead internal project kickoff meetings and regular project meetings to keep the production team up-to-date and organized.
  • Ensure that the production team has the tools and assets necessary to produce deliverables (instructions, assets, design specs, brand guidelines, etc.).
  • Create tasks and provide direction for media, content, and design to ensure the timely and successful completion of campaign deliverables.
  • Manage the overall workload, production pipeline, and timeline for the internal production team.
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses of each team member and be able to tailor your communication style accordingly.
  • Motivate the team through great days and rough days.

Process and Admin:

  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
  • Make recommendations for improvement (in project management methods, and project profitability) by assessing work methods, processes, and documents.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Develop a firm understanding of the client's industry, brand, marketing strategy, and challenges.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Periphery's services and processes
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies within the Chinese market, as well as digital and traditional paid media opportunities in North America.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of digital marketing platforms such as Google Display Network, Facebook, Instagram, Programmatic, WeChat, etc.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the project management field
  • Experience working with and running bilingual digital marketing and media campaigns.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills, fluency in English
  • Intermediate knowledge of WeChat advertising and Ethnic marketing platforms.
  • Intermediate understanding of SEM, Display, and Paid Social Advertising
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build a positive, respectful, and motivating team environment.
  • Flourishes in a team environment with the ability to collaborate and delegate efficiently and effectively with multiple internal departments.
  • Superior time management skills the right person needs to be able to multitask and juggle competing demands from clients and the internal team.
  • Ability to think critically, navigate stressful situations optimistically/positively, problem-solve under pressure, make sound and timely decisions, and meet hard deadlines.
  • Ability to work without supervision and manage your own schedule as well as the schedule of the production team.
  • Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented, with excellent email and phone etiquette.
  • Understands and resonates with small business culture.

  • Previous agency experience.
  • Knowledge of the real estate market.
  • Ability to speak and read Cantonese or Korean.
