The Boortmalt Group is a fully owned subsidiary of the agricultural and agribusiness cooperative Axereal. Our relationship with Axereal, Europe's largest grain cooperative, ensures us access to high-quality barley year-round.

We are looking for a person with strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills, along with a strong focus on detail and continuous improvement, whose main responsibilities will be:

  • Comprehensive control of barley settlements, verifying commercial conditions, rates, discounts, withholdings and current regulations.
  • Control and management of payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance with deadlines and alignment with contracts and supporting documentation.
  • Intervention in clearing/swap operations, validating documentation, values and conditions.
  • Development, updating and improvement of procedures in the area, ensuring compliance with the controls defined in the business matrices.
  • Preparation of management reports, operational indicators and deviations for decision-making.

  • Active participation in processes of continuous improvement, administrative optimisation and cost efficiency.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in back office areas of the grain business (billing, applications, administration, or operations).

  • Education: advanced student in Public Accounting or Management (desirable) or related fields.
  • Solid knowledge of the agribusiness market.
  • Proficiency in business support systems: SAP, Confirma, Finnegans, JDE, SOT (previous experience desirable).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.
