This is not a "make it look cool" role. Your job is to edit ads that stop the scroll, qualify leads, and drive revenue for our clients.You'll work closely with our Creative Strategists and Media Buyers to turn proven angles, scripts, and raw footage into ads that scale across Meta, YouTube, and Google.If you obsess over why ads work, iterate fast, and let performance data guide your edits—this role fits.What You'll Do1. Edit Ads That ConvertEdit short-form and mid-form video ads from raw footage, UGC, talking heads, screen recordings, and stockDeliver scroll-stopping creatives optimized for Meta, YouTube Shorts, and ReelsTurn winning ads into high-volume variations (new hooks, pacing, captions, visuals)Repurpose organic content into paid ads that actually convertImplement modern editing patterns: fast hooks, pattern interrupts, captions, punch-ins, b-roll overlays, utilizing AI assets when necessary2. Light Graphic Design (Canva Required)Make basic graphic design edits in Canva (thumbnails, simple overlays, text slides, brand-aligned visuals)Support creative variations using templates and brand guidelines3. Performance-Driven EditingEdit with direct-response intent, not vibesFollow scripts, hooks, and angles rooted in avatar psychology and offer positioningCollaborate with media buyers to iterate based on CTR, CPL, hook retention, and ROASUnderstand when new creative is required (fatigue, scaling, new offers)4. Speed & SystemsHit tight turnaround times without sacrificing qualityFollow and improve existing creative SOPsKeep ad accounts stocked with fresh creatives as necessaryName files, versions, and variations cleanly (we scale—sloppiness kills speed)What We Look For (Skills & Fit)Fluent in English (written and verbal) — strong communication is a must.Based in Latin America (Mexico, Buenos Aires, or similar regions preferred)Comfortable making basic graphic design edits in CanvaStrong understanding of short-form ad content and social media trendsAble to take feedback, iterate quickly, and improve creatives over timeOrganized, proactive, and able to work independently without micromanagementKPIs You'll Be Accountable ForVolume of ad-ready creatives delivered weeklyTurnaround time from request → final exportCreative iteration velocity (variants per winner)Performance contribution (ads you edit that scale)What You BringEditing ToolsStrong proficiency in Premiere Pro (CapCut experience a plus)Comfortable with Captions App and subtitle-based editingFamiliar with AI tools (Descript, ElevenLabs, basic AI video workflows)Performance MindsetYou understand direct-response ads, not just aestheticsYou know how pacing, hooks, captions, and framing impact resultsYou're comfortable editing ads for local services (contractors, home services, land clearing, etc.)Execution StyleYou take feedback fast and apply it immediatelyYou don't get attached to edits—data winsYou can work independently without being micromanagedCultural FitNo ego.
