Video Editor

Remote position - From Argentina or Uruguay
RYZ Labs is looking for a dedicated Video Editor to join the creative team of one of our clients. The role involves creating impactful memorial keepsake videos and ensuring high-quality video content that aligns with our brand standards. This is a part-time role on an hourly assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce video content, ensuring consistency in quality and style
• Work closely with the Head of Customer Success, with an experienced Video Editor, as well as with families who have lost a loved one, to incorporate family photos, audio/video clips, and personalized elements into memorial keepsakes/slideshows for funerals and/or services
• Collaborate with the internal team, the CEO, and the Head of Growth to take the creative lead on editing video content for marketing/brand
• Utilize DaVinci Resolve for video editing and enhancement
• Identify patterns and establish standardized video formats for streamlined production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver video content promptly
• Maintain organized video files and project documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing with strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to recognize design patterns and standardize video templates for efficiency
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling
• Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively with a remote team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar design tools is a plus
• Experience with internal team tools, such as Slack, Google Docs/Drive, and Notion also a plus
