**What you'll do**
As an SAP Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Standardizing tax processes around VAT, WHT, and providing tax support in collaboration with colleagues in Shared Services Centers.
- Improving tax compliance procedures through automation and smart technologies.
- Initiating processes for the proper implementation of tax law changes, coordinating with IT, other Global Tax teams, and key business stakeholders as applicable.
- Driving tax optimization and planning on both a national and international basis in collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Proactively supporting tax projects and coordinating with other functions or lines of business.
- Acting as a trusted business advisor in close collaboration with other tax team members.
**What you bring**
- A solid understanding of Argentina Tax calculations including IVA, IIBB, Percepciones, retenciones ARBA, ARCIBA, TSH, Padrones IIBB, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of domestic and foreign billing processes, that cover areas such as payment and collection.
- Proven experience in tax account reconciliation and clearing.
- Capability in supporting the Local Tax Manager (LTM) with communication and negotiations with government authorities relating to tax audits, cooperating where necessary with external service providers.
- Demonstrating organizational skills while following existing work guidelines and proactively contributing innovative ideas and innovative work methods.
**Meet your team**
You will be a part of SAP's global tax team, which handles all tax-related matters and is responsible for tax compliance and strategic tax optimization within the group. This team covers a broad spectrum of national and international tax topics and executes and supervises tax-related projects. The Global Tax team also provides ongoing support and sets policies for local subsidiaries.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Education in Tax and Accounting.
- Experience in Argentine Taxes in an advisory firm or in a corporate environment
- CPA, Qualified Tax Advisor, or comparable qualification with focus on taxation
- Ability to work independently and under time pressure
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
Minimum 4-5 years working experience in tax consulting and or tax function of a multinational company with a focus on Argentine Taxes.
