We are seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager for the Market Access sector in Argentina for a leading global healthcare products company.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) and drive a robust strategy to ensure equitable access to vital treatments in Argentina.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Access Leadership**: Lead the Strategic Account Management initiative in Argentina, ensuring patients have access to the treatments they need.
- **Local Team Development**: Lead and nurture a local team of KAMs with a growth-oriented mindset.
- **Strategic Collaboration**: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Strategic Access, and other business teams to understand and overcome access barriers and co-create plans for key products in strategic accounts.
- **Access Innovation**: Develop new access models maximizing opportunities in key accounts, aligned with Central Brand Strategies to ensure patient access to our portfolio.
- **Strategic Relationships**: Establish close and strategic relationships with key external stakeholders in the healthcare system, adhering to the highest compliance standards.
- **Political Coordination**: Collaborate with the government affairs team to prioritize policy issues, monitor the political landscape, and understand the impact of policy decisions that could affect patient access to products.
**Requirements**:
- Education**:Professional university degree** (mandatory); postgraduate or MBA (desirable).
- Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: Previous experience in** pharmaceutical companies**, especially in high-specialty products and/or chronic diseases.
- Market Access Experience: Proven experience in **Access Management**. Knowledge of Access Models and Specific Payer Models.
- Leadership**:Experience in leading teams**, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Essential Knowledge**:Solid knowledge of the Argentine healthcare system**, reimbursement pathways, the pharmaceutical industry, and high-specialty products. Skills in sales, marketing, and payroll management. Negotiation and planning skills.
- **Critical Skills**: strategic thinking and business vision. Growth mindset, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a high sense of urgency. Efficiency in planning and executing work. Ability to work in a team with the initiative to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- **Advanced English.**:
- **Location**: Buenos Aires, Argentina.
- **Travel Availability**: 25% of the time (one week per month).
