**Position Overview**:
The Controller will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in accounting and proficiency in Acumatica software.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the budgeting process, providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and standards.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Utilize Acumatica software to streamline accounting processes and maintain financial data integrity.
- Identify training needs and implement development programs.

**Compliance and Reporting**:

- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and prepare for audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance.

**Process Improvement**:

- Assess current accounting operations and recommend improvements.
- Implement new processes and systems to enhance financial operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience with Acumatica financial software is required.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas is advantageous.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
