**Scope/Categories**:
Role will report to a Manager in DTS Manufacturing West Hemisphere. Role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Business Partners, Business regional leads, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Enterprise Architects and Functional Engineers. Business Client External Interfaces: Consultants & 3rd Party vendors.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Assists the Functional leader in the deployment and roll out of the IT programs within Manufacturing including medium to large project implementations.
- Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical areas with wide range of complexity.
- Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities, reviewing, and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client, assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives, or including the opportunity in future demand.
- Helps through the overall end to end design, including the details configuration that considers how to structure a segment solution based on requirements from the business, global and regional views, as well as the design of standard software configurations.
- Participates in our signature programs as a functional analyst, helping throughout implementation of changes in the business processes.
- Leads small Continues improvement (CI) initiatives; shares knowledge across the organization and provides awareness of industry trends.
**Key Qualifications and Experiences**:
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Currently studying towards a bachelor’s degree (informatics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
- Pro-active and very willing to learn
- Verbal and written Advanced English
**Desirable Requirements**:
- Manufacturing Execution Systems, solid experience, preferable GE Plant Applications, Proficy, and ThingWorx.
- Data Historian, preferable OSi
- Understanding of Shop floor Manufacturing Control Systems: PLC’s, HMI/SCADA, DCS along with systems integration.
- Understanding / exposure to Industrial Internet of Things, Factory of the future concepts, Artificial Intelligence / Robotics
- SQL, VB &.NET Technologies, Advanced Excel and understanding of Data Analytics
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, Coding best practices,
- Desirable - ITIL Service Management, working knowledge / exposure (Incident, Problem & Change Management)
- AGILE project methodology, SCRUM Master a distinct advantage
- Strong in Requirements gathering /management
- Appreciation for business process with an ability to translate into detailed design, authoring and reviewing functional specifications
- Knowledge in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping
- Strong service delivery skills, appreciation for Incident, Change & Problem Management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build lasting trusted relationships with Business Partners, Key Stakeholders, Vendors, and cross functional teams.
- Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
