**JUNIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER**

At Taskmaverick, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. The Junior DevOps engineer will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.

**Functions and Duties**:

- Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions

**Responsibilities**:

- Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Highly proficient in English
- Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
- Proficiency in writing small automation scripts/lambda functions on one or several languages (Python, NodeJS, Bash, etc.)
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stack
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Containers and orchestration: Docker / Docker-compose / Kubernetes
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery approaches and tools
- Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit

**Working Days**: Saturday to Wednesday (Off Mondays and Tuesdays)

**Shift Duration**: 8-hour shifts

**Time Range**:  Between 1:00pm and 10:00pm (Argentina Time)

**Job Types**:Full-time.

**Compensation**:We offer competitive compensation, on an hourly basis, based on each person’s experience and qualifications
