**Webomates** is an exciting start-up offering ground-breaking, patented Software Testing as a Service (TaaS) to software development organizations that provides a lower cost and more efficient way to perform software Quality Assurance. Being an AI TaaS-based service, the team has built multiple AI tools that help in achieving software test automation of different web, mobile native, windows, and OTT platforms.

We face new challenges every quarter. We need to mature on several fronts: operations and development velocity, multi-region/partition, product scalability and reliability, monitoring, security.
**About the position**
We are looking for a junior to mid-level DevOps Engineer to help us improve AWS infrastructure, our SaaS and supporting tools. We are a growing global company with a unique software testing service. Our SaaS runs on classic three-tier architecture: data (MySQL, S3 and Elasticsearch), compute (test fleet on EC2, containerized services, some lambda), and ingress (nginx, api gateway). Services are written in Java and Python. We have extensive CloudFormation and some bash scripts for deployment. The build and deployment pipeline is based on Bitbucket and Jenkins. We use Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.
**Your Responsibilities**
**The Job**
- Understand existing Webomates CQ platform infrastructure, build,deployment and operational tooling and processes
- Automate SaaS management, for example user and customer onboarding
- Automate software and infrastructure build, deployment and multi-level testing, moving us towards true CI/CD
- Improve infrastructure for decreased Cloud and labor costs and better scalability, observability, reliability, security, etc.
- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve telemetry gathering, reporting, and alerting
- Support development teams in the delivery of product features
- Lightly document implementation, configuration and procedures
- Support SaaS operations
**Required**
- Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Understanding of IP networking and core protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TLS and SSH
- Python programming
- Experience with databases and SQL
- Experience with Linux
- Familiarity with git
- Experience using the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) paradigm
- An ‘I can solve it’ attitude
- Team spirit
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
**Desired**
- Experience with Docker
- Familiarity with shell scripting, YAML and JSON
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with AWS core services IAM, VPC, Route 53, EC2, CloudFormation
- Experience with docker orchestrator such as ECS or Kubernetes
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD platform
- Experience with branching strategies such as GitHub flow
- Familiarity with software security principles and tooling
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $135,906.32 - $152,894.60 per month
