SAP APO (or PP) Jr/Ssr Functional Engineer

The IT FE will support full horizon Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Planning functions, with responsibility for developing and supporting APO related projects or changes undertaken by the IT organization.

The role of the IT FE collaborates with Business Planning Stakeholders and Product Owners, Business Partners, Functional/Solution Engineers, Project Managers, and Enterprise Architects. Also actively oversees the core areas of SCM APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization) comprised of: Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PPDS). Finally is expected to gain a hands-on role primarily in APO and its associated systems, that includes both SAP systems and other non-SAP systems as well.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Functional analysis working in small projects within the supply planning space.
- Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address near term business needs.
- Map the supply chain planning & forecasting space and partner with the business in the co-creation of solutions that add value to K-C.
- Maintains in-depth understanding & updates of the planning business processes for their capability area applied to APO System and set of subsystems.
- Help on addressing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across org; full awareness of industry and technology trends that can bring K-C a competitive advantage.
**Education required**
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Similar

**Experience**:

- 1 to 3 years experience in SAP projects as Jr/Ssr consultant and/or junior functional analyst
- R/3 Production Planning PP,and/or APO SCM experience and understanding is a plus
**Skills/competences**:

- Possess good communication skills and exhibits creative thinking to be able to come up with ideas to business challenges
- Self-starter with very good initiative for investigation and analysis looking to overcome obstacles
- Exposure of cross-functional team work, vendors, and consultants both onshore and offshore desired
- Cultivates networking opportunities within the organization
- Broad range of business and IT experiences;
- Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines
- Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
