Job Description
The Manager of Legal Operations will lead our legal delivery team, ensuring the highest standards of service for our startup clients. This role requires extensive knowledge of venture capital, capital raising processes, and providing individualized support to both investors and founders. The Manager will oversee legal operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement in our service delivery. Key Responsibilities
**Coordination of Legal Operations**: Lead and manage the legal delivery team, ensuring smooth coordination of all legal operations. Oversee the planning and execution of legal projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
**Quality Assurance**: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure excellence in all legal deliverables. Regularly review and improve legal documents and processes to meet client needs and industry standards.
**Client Tracking and Relationship Management**: Track and manage legal clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships. Provide regular updates on client status, delivery progress, and roadmap to ensure client satisfaction.
**Objective Setting and Tracking**: Set, measure, and track team objectives and key results (OKRs) to drive performance and growth. Ensure alignment of team goals with overall business objectives.
**Team Structure and Growth**: Determine the necessary team structure to support growth and scalability. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
**Process Automation and Product Development**: Identify opportunities for process automation and future product solutions to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with the Product team to develop and improve the Lazo app, educating customers on its use and benefits.
**Team Career Development**: Develop and implement career development plans for team members, providing coaching and mentorship. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages growth and development.
**Market Research and Benchmarking**: Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify trends, best practices, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to scale the business and improve service offerings.
**Coordination with Legal Suppliers and Partners**: Manage relationships with legal suppliers and partners, ensuring alignment with business goals. Coordinate with external partners to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
**Customer Success and Collaboration**: Foster a customer-oriented mindset within the team, enhancing customer success and satisfaction. Collaborate with Customer Support (CS) and Sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
**Internal Onboarding and Time Management**: Oversee internal onboarding processes to ensure new hires are well-integrated and productive. Implement effective time management practices to optimize team efficiency.
**Process Improvements**: Identify and implement internal process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency. Regularly review and refine processes to stay ahead of industry standards and client needs.
**Area Growth and Efficiency**: Analyze the legal operations area to identify opportunities for growth and increased efficiency. Compare service delivery with other providers and implement best practices.
**Billing and Client Services Review**: Conduct monthly billing reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review recurring clients and legal services to identify opportunities for upselling and enhanced service delivery.

**Requisitos**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree in Law or Business is preferred.
**Experience**: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in legal operations or legal management. Extensive experience with venture capital, capital raising, and startup legal issues. Proven track record of managing and growing a legal operations team.
**Knowledge**: Deep understanding of legal processes, venture capital, and startup ecosystems. Familiarity with legal technology and process automation.
**Skills**: Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Proficiency in legal and project management software.
