**About us**:
Hakuna is a 100% remote design company serving the U.S. tech sector. We’re a fast-growing, innovative company, and we’re looking to expand our outreach with a new Sales Development Representative (SDR) role. You will be a foundational hire, building out this function from the ground up with direct support from the CSO.

**What we’re looking for**:
As our SDR, you will play a key role in driving the growth of Hakuna by identifying and engaging potential clients in the U.S. startup and tech sectors. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and collaborating with internal teams to build and scale our sales development strategy. Given the autonomy and importance of this role, you will have the freedom to shape the SDR processes and tactics that align with our business objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proven experience as an SDR or in a similar sales role (experience in the design, tech, or SaaS industry is a plus).
- Strong ability to work autonomously, with a self-starter mentality and a track record of initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage prospects effectively.
- Familiarity with outreach tools is a must.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on long-term client relationships and business growth.
- Advanced english.

**Requirements**:

- Identify, research, and qualify potential clients within our target industries, focusing on U.S. tech startups and SaaS companies.
- Collaborate closely with the CSO to develop scalable sales processes, workflows, and strategies tailored to our target market.
- Track all sales activities in our CRM and ensure up-to-date records on leads and client communications.
- Report on lead generation metrics and provide feedback on what’s working and where we can improve.
- Take full ownership of the SDR function, with the opportunity to grow the team as we scale.

**Terms of employment**
- Full time.
- Fully remote
