**Job Title**:
Central Park Puppies is looking for a Puppy Wellness Advocate with expertise in dog behavior and training. This role involves providing exceptional after-sale support, advising on puppy care, training, and resolving behavioral issues, ensuring the well-being of our puppies and satisfaction of our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Health Monitoring**: Regularly assess the health and development of puppies, including monitoring weight, vaccination schedules, and overall well-being. Alert veterinary staff to any signs of illness or concerns.
- **Behavioral Guidance**: Offer guidance and support to puppy owners on basic training techniques, socialization strategies, and behavioral issues. Provide resources and recommendations for positive reinforcement training methods.
- **Nutritional Advice**:Educate puppy owners on proper nutrition and feeding schedules tailored to their puppy's age, breed, and individual needs. Recommend suitable food options and address any dietary concerns.
- **Exercise and Enrichment**: Advocate for the importance of regular exercise and mental stimulation in a puppy's daily routine. Provide suggestions for age-appropriate activities and toys to keep puppies engaged and entertained.
- **Community Building**: Foster a sense of community among puppy owners through networking events, educational seminars, and online forums. Facilitate opportunities for socialization and peer support among puppies and their owners.
- **Health Education**: Offer educational resources and workshops on topics such as grooming, dental care, parasite prevention, and first aid for puppies. Empower owners with the knowledge and skills to proactively care for their puppy's health.
- **Customer Support**: Serve as a point of contact for puppy owners, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests for assistance in a timely and compassionate manner. Build trust and rapport with clients to ensure a positive experience throughout their puppy's journey.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in dog behavior and training; certification preferred.
- General knowledge on dog breeds.
- Previous experience working with puppies or dogs in a professional capacity is preferred.
- Strong understanding of canine behavior, development, and health needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of positive reinforcement training techniques and basic obedience principles.
- Passion for promoting animal welfare and fostering strong bonds between pets and their owners.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in animal care, dog training, or veterinary assistance is a plus.

Pay: $5,896.31 - $8,423.30 per hour
