The Americas hub Digital & IT team is responsible to build and support digitalization of Air Liquide businesses and operations, with a strong focus on value creation, total cost of ownership, user adoption and change management while ensuring reliable and safe operations.

Air Liquide's Business Service Center (BSC) comprises a dedicated unit (including people, processes and technologies) that is structured as a centralized point of service focused on defined business functions. Initially the BSC will support the North America (‘NAM’) cluster and will take on support of the Latin America (‘LATAM’) cluster in a later phase.
**Position Summary**
Working closely with business and solution experts, the Developer will contribute significantly in the translation of business requirements into technical specifications, articulating tasks that cover all aspects including databases, user interface and reporting capabilities. This person will also work closely with the Solutions Architecture team to determine the best platform for the solution and to ensure alignment and compliance with standards, methods, and tools used in the creation process.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
Support maintenance, patching and release management processes
Perform limited enhancement work, as needed
Handle ad hoc data requests
Recommend and implements efficiency improvements
Follow and enforce Air Liquide’s change management processes
Meet with stakeholders to elucidate requirements
Recommend and designs a solution, using appropriately selected technologies
Perform system analysis, review and correct errors in programs
Implement a solution using a variety of technologies
Perform system analysis, review and correct errors in programs
Provide technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support
Work with various stakeholders to deploy a software solution
Produce technical documentation of the solution developed
Provide support for implemented software solutions
Provide assistance to other Developers as needed
Upgrade and maintain existing software
Keep abreast of the latest software technological developments in their area of work (frameworks, development methodologies)

**Qualifications**
Education, Training or Certification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related discipline, coupled with prior experience as a software developer
5+ years experience working with Oracle EBS development toolsets

**Language Requirements**
Spanish fluency required
English: Advanced proficiency required
French language ability a plus

**General Requirements and Knowledge**
Strong organizational and project management skills
Proficiency in building solutions on Oracle EBS platform, with functional knowledge of across multiple EBS modules a plus
Experience with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
Experience with Apigee API Management tool is a plus.
Proficiency with schema design and implementation using Oracle relational database technologies
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, OFA, XML Publishing or other programming languages
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good problem solving, troubleshooting skills; Attention to detail
