Sr. Manager, Financial Accounting, Latam

**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director, ATR who is based in Liverpool (UK), the central location for accounting to report, as the **Sr. Manager, Financial Accounting, LATAM**, you will be in a new role resulting from CSL's new Operating Model and the establishment of a Global Accounting Operations Team. You will form a part of the Account to Report team and lead a Financial Accounting HUB team to deliver accurate and timely execution of Financial Accounting activities for a varying size of entities. You will provide guidance and perform complex transactions, overseeing Finance data management, planning, and budgeting activities and will be responsible for statutory reporting for multiple entities. You will also provide support for projects and continuous improvement, and liaise with Finance Business Partners in case of escalated issues. This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid

**The Role**:

- Lead a Financial Accounting team to deliver accurate and timely execution of Shared Service Centre Financial Accounting activities for entities within scope. Including month end reporting of all in scope reporting entities. Such role will include consolidated monthly variance analysis reporting of Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
- Oversee day to day work of Financial Accountants including managing work assignment, review of quality and helping with queries, and ensure team is adhering to compliance & control, including ensuring timely updates to Finance data and completion of all activities required for planning and budgeting.
- Provide approvals for general accounting activities, where required, as per authority level.
- Ensure timely and accurate local statutory reporting and group audit reporting for entities through the management of audit relationships and teams.
- Provide guidance or perform complex Financial Accounting transactions.
- Act as a liaison with Finance Business Partners as required for any escalated issues.
- Manage team performance against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements) defined as part of the service management framework
- Collaborate between Entity Group teams to drive harmonization of processes and intercompany analysis across CSL group.
- Support and contribute to ad hoc projects or continuous improvement activities.
- Lead, motivate and develop employees within the team including long-term talent development and succession planning. Manage performance with a focus on meeting service agreements and continuously enhancing Finance staff, while role modelling CSL Values.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- University degree is required, along with any ACCA/ACA/CPA/CMA certifications.
- Fluency in English, to include fluid written, reading and speaking abilities is required.
- 5+ years management experience in global organization.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Proven ability to function effectively as part of a team and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders at varying levels within the organization.
- Proven ability to deliver audit reporting deliverables to a tight deadline through strong audit relationships.
- Ability to build and maintain sound relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple levels and cross functionally with Finance Business Partners and various Finance Centers of Excellence.
