About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Analyst to join our team at Air Liquide. As a Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Collection and Analysis:
    • Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, including financial systems and databases.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, using statistical models and data visualization techniques.
    • Develop and maintain data models and databases to support reporting and analytics.
  2. Report Development:
    • Design and create reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, to provide insights to stakeholders.
    • Customize reports to meet the needs of different departments and teams, using data visualization techniques and storytelling.
    • Automate report generation processes where possible, to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  3. Data Visualization:
    • Present data in a clear and visually appealing manner, using charts, graphs, and other data visualization techniques, to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Interpret and communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, using clear and concise language.
  4. Report Maintenance:
    • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all reports, by verifying data sources and using data validation techniques.
    • Keep reports up to date with the latest data, by scheduling regular report refreshes and updates.
    • Address any issues or errors promptly, by collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with departments across the organization to understand their reporting needs and provide insights to support business decisions.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to improve data infrastructure and data quality, by identifying and implementing data governance best practices.
Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (or studying) in Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data analysis and business intelligence.

Experience/Certifications:

  • Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality reports and insights.
  • Consolidation and cash flows reporting highly desirable, with experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments, with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software, including Power BI and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a results-oriented approach and a self-starter mindset.
  • Overtime is required during month end close and occasionally at other times, possibly with little advance notice.

Language Requirements:

  • English: Advanced- Intermediate required [B1/B2].
  • Spanish mandatory.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of financial analysis and business intelligence, with experience in data modeling and data visualization.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel or in Google Sheets, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work and take initiative in a matrix organization, with a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
  • Interpersonal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
  • Digital mindset for systems automation and connectivity, with experience in data governance and data quality.
