Intercompany Financial Operations Analyst

The Intercompany Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting strategic financial decision-making for Air Liquide. This position reports directly to the Intercompany Team Lead/Intercompany Supervisor and is responsible for a wide range of Intercompany operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting, and Reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with Air Liquide's policies and values.
- Contribute to achieving Intercompany Team metrics.
- Accurately enter AR and AP Intercompany financial transactions into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Respond to Intercompany inquiries, prioritizing customer experience.
- Review and post journal entries received from local teams and other Business Support Center (BSC) towers, analyzing account reconciliations.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate Intercompany processes and tasks that require improvement, proposing action plans.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and Maintenance Projects (CIMP) to enhance Intercompany operations.
- Ensure organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Develop and update Desktop Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at least twice a year.
- Prepare and update a Capacity file to track activities and time consumption.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, International Trade, or Business Administration.
- Proven experience as an analyst or similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
English: Intermediate - Advanced English
Spanish: Mandatory
