Job Purpose
As an IT Project Coordinator at Techunting, you will oversee a variety of technical initiatives from inception to completion, showcasing outstanding leadership and client management capabilities. Your role will involve effectively motivating, assembling, and supervising diverse teams. You will be responsible for translating client specifications into actionable tasks and timelines, culminating in high-quality deliverables.
Direct interaction with client teams and leadership will be a key aspect of your role. You must adeptly manage client expectations to establish and achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of technical projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical specifications.
• Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
• Prioritize and manage project tasks, dependencies, and risks effectively to mitigate issues and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and reviews, to maintain open lines of communication and transparency.
• Identify and resolve project challenges proactively, managing escalations and changes in scope to minimize disruptions to timelines and objectives.
• Track project progress and performance metrics, providing consistent updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Enhance project management processes and methodologies to boost efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a proven history of successfully delivering complex projects in the IT or cloud services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practical experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite.
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges.
• Experience in a client-facing role, managing client expectations, and striving for client satisfaction.
• AWS Certification – must hold at least one current AWS certification, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or a more advanced certification.
• PMP/PMI and Certified ScrumMaster certifications are preferred.
