Clinical Database Specialist

**About the Role:**
This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality of electronic data capture (EDC) systems used in clinical trials. As the Lead Clinical Database Testing Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and executing Quality Control (QC) testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) procedures.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of System Development Lifecycle Management and system validation principles. Experience with database design and development is also essential. You will work closely with the Director/Associate Director to ensure that all testing activities are aligned with our Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ICH-GCP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute QC testing and UAT procedures for EDC systems.
- Develop and maintain test scripts, as well as provide peer review of CDT documentation.
- Categorize issues identified during UAT and work on implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support cross-functional technical and process improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, a health care related discipline, or computer science.
- 4+ years of experience in System Development Lifecycle Management/system validation.
- Detailed knowledge of database structures and available tools to manage, extract, and report data.
