About the Role

FM Global is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Engineer II to join our team. As a Consultant Engineer II, you will play a critical role in helping our clients mitigate risks and protect their assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments at insured client facilities to identify potential hazards and develop practical solutions to minimize or eliminate them.
  • Communicate key risks and priorities to clients, providing them with sound risk management advice based on their business needs.
  • Apply consistent risk assessment and mitigation guidance, leveraging FM Global's Property Loss Prevention Data Sheets and company operating procedures.
  • Prepare technical engineering reports, documenting conclusions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and consultant within your field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a concentration in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
  • Experience with expansions, construction, or installation projects.
  • Previous field experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Analytical, organized, and problem-solving skills, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven and self-learning skills.
