Position Overview

As a Technical Sales Specialist at Autodesk, you will partner with our sales teams and authorized resellers to develop, manage, and execute strategies for closing business. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and position Autodesk's solutions as the best fit for their projects.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct in-depth assessments of customer processes to identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
  2. Capture metrics to quantify and justify the customer's return on investment (ROI) for Autodesk solutions.
  3. Position and sell Autodesk's unique business values in sales situations against other vendors.
  4. Influence product development and product direction through customer feedback and identified business opportunities.
  5. Partner with sales representatives to develop, manage, and execute strategies.
  6. Support the success of Autodesk resellers by mentoring reseller personnel on technical sales activities and execution.
  7. Participate in company-sponsored events and tradeshows to promote Autodesk's solutions.
  8. Discover customer business and technical processes to build a trusted advisor relationship.
  9. Manage the entire technical evaluation process, from qualification through to post-sales handovers.
  10. Document customer engagements in Salesforce.
  11. Lead and present all technical sales aspects of an Autodesk sales cycle.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years' experience in the Oil and Gas and Mining industry.
  2. Civil Engineering bachelor's degree from a recognized institute or equivalent work experience.
  3. Knowledge of Autodesk AEC Infrastructure Solutions.
  4. AWP and BIM knowledge.
  5. Proficient in Spanish.
  6. English proficiency.
  7. Able to travel up to 75%.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of the MEP Building industry.
  2. Knowledge of Autodesk AEC solutions.
  3. Knowledge of competitor's construction/infrastructure and building software.
  4. Previous experience with sales or pre-sales.
