Job Title: Automotive Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our team at Sonic Automotive. As an Automotive Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the online sales component of our dealership's sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the online sales process, including creating sales quotes for customers, checking customers' credit histories, and creating relationships with customers to secure sales.
  • Train and oversee internet sales representatives to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Update the website with new inventory and pricing to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for customers.
  • Manage the dealership's presence on social media platforms to align with online sales efforts.
  • Align online sales with other existing in-person promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Attend new product or sales training to stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments.
  • Keep detailed customer records for future sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of dealership technology, including automotive mastermind and e-leads.
  • Ability to lead the internet sales team to growth and success.
  • Prior sales/internet/traffic experience in Mercedes or luxury brands is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.
