About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Senior Social Media Manager to join our team in Buenos Aires to manage our social media presence across Latin America.
This role will oversee social media strategy and execution across platforms like Instagram, X, YouTube, and TikTok, leading content development, community engagement, and performance analysis focusing on both awareness and customer acquisition.
You will be working closely with a network of social teams, both globally and in other local markets, to increase engagement with the MUBI brand and leverage social media to achieve overall marketing and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute high-level social media strategies that align with broader marketing goals and company objectives.
- Create long-term plans for community growth, engagement, and customer acquisition.
- Determine KPIs, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimize accordingly.
- Lead a team and work with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with significant experience managing social media platforms at a senior level for a brand or organization.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of trends in the ever-changing digital/media landscape.
A passion for film, indepth knowledge of cinema, and international arthouse and independent films is also essential.
Additionally, strong writing and copywriting skills are required, as well as video skills and fluency in Spanish and English.
