The role of the HR Strategist involves executing HR processes and systems, including onboarding and offboarding procedures, recruitment partner management, training programs, employee engagement initiatives, and performance management. Day-to-day HR tasks and providing support to employees and management are also integral aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate new hire orientation schedules, conduct onboarding sessions, monitor document submissions, and ensure staff setup for effective work.
- Pay and Benefits / Total Rewards: Verify payroll data accuracy, review vendor processing, and ensure government compliance.
- Performance & Disciplinary Management: Prepare and send notice letters, help prepare documentation for performance improvement plans, show-cause memos, and termination notices.
- Training: Assist in implementing and facilitating training programs, provide materials for the Virtual Learning Board, and release training certificates as needed.
- Employee Engagement: Recommend and implement employee activities, manage event logistics, coordinate budgets, negotiate with local suppliers, and foster a positive work environment.
- Recruitment Partner Management: Coordinate with external agencies to source candidates, serve as primary contact between agencies and clients, review candidate profiles, and monitor agency performance.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR practitioner, preferably in a Generalist or Supervisor role.
- Strong English skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in strategy development and implementation.
- Technical and analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
- Exceptional employee service and satisfaction mindset.
