About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Consultant to join our team at Park Place Technologies. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance to customers and prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and accurate technical support to our sales team, including answering technical questions, identifying solutions, and providing support caveats.
  • Discovery and Conference Calls: Participate in discovery and technical conference calls with sales associates, serving as the technical resource on hardware and software architecture, network architecture, and managed service offerings.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and enhance your technical expertise, sales ability, account management skills, and exceptional customer focus.
  • Presentation and Training: Create and deliver technical product and support presentations for external partners and customers, and provide coaching and professional development to first-year sales associates.
  • Business Development: Pursue business development opportunities to align with our company's global business objectives and profit margin goals.
  • Risk Management: Monitor technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alert the account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of successful technical sales and/or pre-sales experience.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of data center topology, hardware, and software, as well as experience with selling server and enterprise storage and/or hardware maintenance solutions.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications in Virtualization, Cloud, Networking, or Security are a plus.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but we will consider experience in lieu of education.
Travel

10% travel required.
