Join Abbott Argentina as a Human Resources Business Partner. In this pivotal role, you will be the key collaborator for the organization, crafting and executing HR initiatives, conducting needs assessments, and managing employee relations to deliver effective HR solutions. Your mission will be to align local objectives with broader Divisional and Corporate strategies, ensuring optimal HR outcomes including client satisfaction and financial performance.

WHAT WILL YOUR CONTRIBUTION BE?

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to develop HR strategies and implementation plans that address the organizational needs.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with key HR stakeholders across all functions to ensure seamless coordination of HR elements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in employee relations, demonstrating a commitment to funding and executing relevant projects.
  • Assist management with employee relations matters, including policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, and performance coaching, while managing labor relations strategies to foster a positive workplace.
  • Oversee various HR programs to meet the current and future HR needs of the organization.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate human resources and workforce development strategies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records to provide reliable data for management decisions.
  • Facilitate and evaluate onboarding and development initiatives.
  • Advise and guide managers on HR-related topics, including compensation, policy interpretation, and employee relations.
  • Lead the execution of performance reviews, succession planning, and talent management processes.
  • Participate in the annual HR budgeting process.
  • Drive change by implementing the culture, engagement, and internal communications strategy in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Actively support the company's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion philosophy to promote sustainable and profitable growth.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Engage with Business Leaders, Managers, and Staff through various communication channels.
  • Coordinate the delivery of HR services across different business units.
  • Manage the HR needs of multiple leadership teams.
  • Lead or participate in short-term HR projects.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the business landscape.
  • Have significant knowledge of success factors and challenges across various business sectors.
  • Conduct risk assessments as necessary.

ARE YOU PREPARED TO EMBARK ON THIS JOURNEY?

To excel in this position, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Legal Studies, Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Specialist or Generalist in multinational environments, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Extensive experience in employee relations, union management, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and learning and development.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Experience in matrix organizational structures is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing employee and labor relations challenges.
  • Experience in organizational design and change management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HRIS and Payroll systems, such as Workday.
