Business Development Lead Strategy

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with our company's goals and objectives.
Your primary focus will be on generating new business ideas, assessing their feasibility, and articulating the rationale for pursuing identified opportunities. You will engage with internal and external entities to stay knowledgeable of business trends and lead desktop market research.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate new business ideas and assess their feasibility
* Articulate rationale for pursuing identified opportunities
* Engage with internal and external entities to stay knowledgeable of business trends
* Lead and conduct desktop market research
* Develop business plans & financial models
* Produce thought leadership reports on strategies and performance
* Manage cross-functional teams for new business plans
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking or equivalent with an MBA or equivalent; with a professional certification (CFA, CMA, or PMP)
* 10 years of relevant experience with exposure to multiple industries; if not holding an MBA or professional certification, 15 years of relevant experience is required
* Broad industry experience including oil and gas, technology, professional services, real estate, and infrastructure
* Knowledge of venturing activities like commercialization, spin-offs, or joint venturing
* Strong finance background including experience in financial valuations and modeling
* Background in strategy development or relevant experience
* Experience with developing deal strategy and market positioning
* A strong analytical ability to synthesize data into meaningful insight
* Experience with market intelligence platforms and analytics
* Excellent writing skills to produce reports to senior management
* Excellent presentation skills with experience presenting to senior management
* A track record of originating transactions that resulted in successful deals
What We Offer:
* Monthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills
* Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary
* Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, increasing with years of service
* Severance Package – year 2 to 5: 2 week's pay for each year of service, Year 6+: 4 week's pay for each year after
* Employment Tax – potential tax benefits based on residency
* Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – eligible after 12 months of service
* Incentive Plan – annual based on performance
* Travel Allowance – annual for household members residing in Saudi Arabia
* Vacation & Paid Holidays – 38 vacation days / 4 travel days / 11-13 paid holidays

* Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) – assistance for educational expenses
* Settling in Allowance – one-time payment based on employment status
