Job Title: Delivery Manager, Technology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Manager, Technology to join our team at Western Union. As a Delivery Manager, Technology, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical professionals to deliver high-quality software applications and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technical professionals to deliver software applications and services to our customers.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Western Union's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team is equipped to deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on software development and delivery.
  • 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in financial services/payments/Banking verticals will be highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field.
  • Prior experience leading onshore and offshore delivery, including working overlapping business hours to partner with onshore teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development life cycles (waterfall, agile, etc.).
  • Strong Customer Centric mindset with an ability to outperform Service Level Agreements on Customer satisfaction and experience.
  • Prior experience in managing vendor relationships.
  • Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude; possess strong leadership skills in guiding and directing teams throughout the SDLC process.
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results.
  • Strong Customer Centric mindset with an ability to outperform Service Level Agreements on Customer satisfaction and experience.
  • English is a must.
