Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Director of Strategic Delivery and Growth to join our team at MAI Fortrea Development Limited. This is a home-based, remote job that requires a strong leader with expertise in Research and Development, Therapeutic Areas, and operational study execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial: Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth within Fortrea, leveraging extensive pharmaceutical development expertise and a deep understanding of industry dynamics and client needs.
  • Operational: Oversee strategy execution post-award, utilizing metrics for strategy compliance, contributing to quality control and risk assurance, and implementing process improvements and lessons learned.
  • Leadership: Collaborate with Fortrea's leadership on business initiatives, implement company and department vision and strategy, foster a culture of ownership and accountability, and lead effectively in a global environment.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide commercial and scientific leadership, ensure training development and delivery, and engage in continuous learning opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, advance degree, PhD, and/or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of research and development and clinical research experience (pharmaceutical or biotech and CRO) with project management leadership experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong networking abilities, ability to review/analyze relevant data, build evidence-based clinical trial strategies, and financial acumen in understanding and effectively contributing to a competitive study or program strategy.
